Chicago, IL (September 18, 2018) – Site Location Partnership (SLP), a Dallas-based corporate site selection consulting firm, announced its successful exhibition at IMTS, the International Manufacturing Technology Show last week. SLP met with businesses to evaluate opportunities for economic development and job creation. The firm also attended a private event in downtown Chicago dedicated to networking and discussions between site selectors and economic developers.
The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) broke attendance and exhibitor records by bringing together 129,415 professionals from around the world. 2,563 exhibitors showcased new machines, tools, computer systems and software, and other ways to improve company efficiency for the manufacturing technology industry. The IMTS Conference provided information on the latest developments and industry trends within metal cutting, tooling & work-holding systems, metal fabrication, gear generation, and machining components.
At the networking event, SLP representatives joined economic development officials, corporate real estate executives, business leaders, and other site selection consultants. “Chicago is probably tired of us, at this point, as this is our second visit here over the last few months. But as always, it was great to help some of our clients make some connections here,” commented Mark Darce, Senior Vice President of Development at Site Location Partnership.”
