Joplin, MO (March 20, 2017) – The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce announced that it has renewed a contract for business recruitment services with Site Location Partnership (SLP), a Dallas-based consulting firm specializing in corporate site selection and economic development. SLP’s Economic Development Practice will support the Chamber in building relationships with site selection decision makers and identifying opportunities for business expansion or relocation to the Joplin region.

Under the terms of the agreement, SLP will assist the Chamber with business intelligence research, targeted industry prospect development, appointment setting, trade show representation, site selector networking forums, and other aggressive strategies. Targeted industry sectors for job creation and capital investment in the Joplin area include aerospace/defense, food processing, medical device manufacturing, precision metalworking, and warehousing/distribution.
