Site Location Partnership Participates in the World’s Largest Wind Power Conference and Exclusive Reception for Dallas Site Selection Consultants

  site location partnershipDallas, TX (May 28, 2010) – Site Location Partnership (SLP), a Dallas-based corporate site selection and economic development advisory firm announced that its efforts at the AWEA Wind Power Conference & Exhibition were successful in promoting its location consulting services to the wind energy industry and identifying businesses interested in expanding their operations. SLP provided registration badges for clients from Arizona, Idaho, Indiana, Nebraska, Ontario and Texas who attended the show. The firm also participated in an exclusive networking reception with other professionals involved in corporate site location, commercial real estate and economic development.

The AWEA Wind Power Conference & Exhibition, coordinated by the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), is recognized as the nation’s fastest-growing trade show and the world’s largest annual wind energy conference. Held in Dallas, Texas, the 2010 conference featured nearly 1,400 companies from 23 countries exhibiting the latest in wind power development, manufacturing and technology over an area the size of six football fields. More than 20,000 wind industry leaders, government officials and business executives attended the trade show.

“AWEA’s wind power show is an important event for us as we experience rapid growth and client activity within the wind energy industry,” said Justin Thompson, CEO of Site Location Partnership. “Several hundred companies visited our booth to learn more about our corporate location advisory services and opportunities for economic development. We’re excited to build upon our success in clean technology by working with wind turbine component manufacturers and other companies involved in the wind power supply chain.”

SLP representatives met with site selection advisors, real estate consultants, economic developers and senior-level corporate executives at the networking reception. “The reception brought together a diverse group of industry professionals in a convenient venue that facilitated exceptional new business opportunities,” said Mark Darce, senior vice president of development at Site Location Partnership. “We were able to develop several new working relationships and broaden our network of strategic partners.”
