site location partnershipChicago, IL (September 17, 2012 ) – Site Location Partnership (SLP), a Dallas-based corporate site selection and economic development advisory firm, announced its successful exhibition at IMTS 2012 – the International Manufacturing Technology Show – where the company met with hundreds of manufacturers to evaluate opportunities for business expansion and job creation. SLP was joined at the trade show by several clients from Indiana, New York, Ohio and Utah. While in Chicago, the firm also took part in an exclusive networking event focused on site selection strategy, corporate facility planning and business attraction.

IMTS, organized by the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), is held every two years in Chicago and is the largest industrial trade show in America. Marking the 29th edition of the premier manufacturing technology event in the world, IMTS 2012 featured 1,909 booths with 1.2 million net square feet of exhibit space. 100,200 attendees from more than 119 countries came to see the equipment, tooling and services needed to maintain a competitive edge in manufacturing.

“IMTS provided an excellent opportunity to develop new business prospects and keep in touch with companies from the Chicago area considering expansion or relocation,” said Mark Darce, senior vice president of development at Site Location Partnership. “The show was extremely busy for us and more importantly, the quality of attendees was exceptional as we spoke with a large number of decision makers. We enjoyed interacting with our clients, potential customers and international visitors from around the world.”

SLP representatives met with corporate executives, community leaders, site consultants and real estate specialists at the networking event. “This venue presented the perfect setting to explore opportunities for strategic partnerships with Chicago corporations, industry peers and other site selection service providers,” said Justin Thompson, CEO of Site Location Partnership. “We’re confident that this gathering will facilitate new business for all parties involved.”
