Phelps County Business & Industry Park

Enjoy the transportation advantage! This rail-served business & industry park is located just 20 minutes from I-80 in central Nebraska. The Nebraska, Kansas & Colorado Railway (NKCR), owned and operated by OmniTRAX, is adjacent to the property with a BNSF interchange station 1.5 miles away. The intersection of U.S. Highways 183 and 34 in Holdrege carries trucks north-south between I-10 to I-90 and east-west between I-25 and I-39.

The City of Holdrege has pre-engineered the water, sewer, and electricity extensions to the site. The new park is adjacent to Allmand Bros., a 70-year-old manufacturer led by the third generation of family leaders. BD, a global medical technology company, has been doing business in Holdrege since 1966.

The Phelps County Development Corporation can coordinate an incentive package for primary-job creators. The organization, like good businesses, strives for a return on its investment. Businesses creating jobs with benefits, making a significant capital investment, substantially increasing the sales tax base, and/or diversifying the local economy provide the high return the community is seeking.
